Molly Maguire, LAc is a Maine state Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist. She received her Master's of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, New York, and has been practicing since 2014.  She is board certified with the NCCAOM, and is a professional member of the Maine Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

Molly grew up in Maine, and after living away for many years, moved back to the area in 2017 to practice with Dr. Holly J. Brown in Brunswick and in Bath.

Molly's training at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine prepared her to practice as a primary healthcare provider.  Her education was based on a complementary medical curriculum, which provides its practitioners with the ability to work in an integrated healthcare model.  This unique approach to complementary health care combines both Eastern and Western perspectives, and uses techniques that promote long-term benefits.

Molly’s comprehensive knowledge of the organ systems and etiology of disease allows her to focus not only on the alleviation of symptoms, but also on the understanding of how and why these conditions occur.  In turn, Molly treats the whole body by addressing all aspects of one’s health.

Molly’s approach to patient care incorporates acupuncture, herbal medicine, and nutritional expertise alongside compassion and a strong belief in patient education.  She takes great pride in the promotion of overall well-being and prevention of disease by encouraging healthier lifestyle habits and skills for self-care.

Molly loves her work and is very happy to be back in Maine, living with her husband and young daughter.  She is grateful for the opportunity to practice with Dr. Holly Brown, and for the opportunity to work in the community where she grew up.

“I had severe shoulder pain, muscle spasms, chronic GI issues, and depression.  After seeing several different doctors, I was getting very little relief and was tired of spending so much money on pharmaceutical drugs that caused more problems then they solved.

Seven months ago I began acupuncture treatments with Molly and I am amazed at the results.  The needles are hardly noticeable and the sessions are comfortable and relaxing.

Molly’s caring nature, positive attitude, and integrative approach to health has helped to support and guide me to a healthier way of living.”
